Interview with Alan Bensoussan
Alan Bensoussan is Professor of Chinese Medicine and director of the National Institute of Complementary Medicine, University of Western Sydney. Under his leadership the NICM has created a very strong base for Chinese medicine research in Australia, and has established a broad network of links with other national and international organisations within government and industry, including collaborative projects with institutions in China, Hong Kong, United States and the United Kingdom. He was also closely involved in the processes that led to setting up a statutory register of Chinese Medicine in the state of Victoria—the main trigger for this interview.
