The Versatility of Indirect Moxibustion
Approved for 3 CEUs via NCCAOM (AOM-BIO), Florida, and Texas
As of January 1, 2022, this course is not approved by the California Acupuncture Board.
In school, we hear about moxibustion on ginger, garlic, salt, or Fu Zi, but are you clear on the different methods and uses of each? Besides these commonly used materials, we can also make herbal "cakes" for moxibustion. Each cake treats something different, depending on which herbs and points are selected. In addition, we can use orange peel, peach leaves, paper soaked in milk, cloth soaked in salt water, and even eggs as isolating substances for indirect moxibustion. This course is part of a larger bundled course with Lorraine: A Hands-On Moxa Workshop. You can take this course individually and with other individual courses in the series, or take the whole series.
Unfortunately, the "supplementary materials" (YouTube videos) are no longer available for this course.
